“The Wheel of Life (Lg)”

 The Wheel of Life is suggestive of an ancient relic that contains a secret and timeless outline of the purpose of life and the soul’s journey through it.  At its base, the wheel is surveyed by a prehistoric horned toad whose presence hints of a mystery beyond the definition of time. At the center of the wheel is a sun, a symbol of the essence of life which permeates all the earths inhabitants who live sustained by the five elements, earth, fire, water, air and ether. These symbol’s appear on the wheel’s perimeter. The soul progresses upwards through a hierarchy of forms from vegetable to human. In the human form it can realize its divine nature. At the time of death the soul symbolizes by the two doves, exist its mortal shell and rises upward on the current of the music of the spheres. This music is symbolized by the five sound icons positioned above the man and woman figures.

The Wheel of Life outlines the purpose of life and the soul’s journey through it. It shows how the soul progresses through more primitive forms like the vegetable to a fully developed human being.
