“The originals of Speakeasy and Speakeasy II were quickly sold, much to the disappointment of a particular collector wanting to purchase them. Since neither was available, he commissioned Ostrovsky to create a similar – but different – painting. The result was The Tease, which shows a Los Angeles scene out the window at the request of the owner.”
