Destin Casimiro

Destin Casimiro was born and raised in West Warwick, Rhode Island. He migrated to Sedona, Arizona in July of 1994 for a change in pace and lifestyle. Destin has been involved in the musical arts since he was 21 years old. He has also dabbled in pencil drawing and working with clay over the years. He says, “I always worked well with my hands, but those hobbies never burned passionately in my heart.”

In 2017, Destin acquired a woodworking lathe from his next door neighbor and quickly went on a search for a woodworking project that he would be interested in. He quickly gravitated towards making custom pens because of the hundreds of designs and themes available. The various themes Destin explores include but are not limited to: sports such as golf and baseball, music and instruments, steampunk, mythical creatures, hobbies, jobs such as police and firemen…and many more!

The limitless themes coupled with the infinite choices of acrylics and woods available from all corners of the globe, really sparked his creativity. After a year of crafting some beautiful pen designs, Destin began looking for a way to set his work apart from others in his genre. That’s when he decided to make custom wood boxes for his pens. These handcrafted boxes are not just functional, they are both beautiful and a piece of art in their own right.
