“Autumn Sun”

As the sun rises, its soft glow reveals a trio of shaman spirits, etched upon the rock surface. Their highly decorated robes denote their spiritual status and they appear to emerge from the cracks and crevasses, like a gentle wisp of smoke from a smoldering fire.

These wonderful petroglyph images are depictions of ancient holy men or shamans. In life as well as in spirit, these shamans bring forth only good thoughts and are always on guard against evil., day and night. I6t si told that when the sun rose they opened their arms to the sun and spoke aloud sacred prayers, as they pulled the power of the sun down and over their bodies. When the sun set in the evening they did the same thing and thus again, bathing their bodies in the power of the waning autumn sun.
