Inspired by the aesthetics of this wondrous creature, Borowski’s Fletcher anteater uniquely combines craftsmanship with functionality. The body of this extraordinary light object is made of luminous glass, gently illuminating the surrounding terrain and creating a mysterious atmosphere. The intricately crafted metal parts form both the limbs and the long, shaggy fur. The characteristic features of an anteater are artfully crafted. These include the lighter forelegs and the darker coloring of the hind legs and tail. Also particularly noteworthy is the black, crescent-shaped stripe that begins at the neck and runs down the back. Accordingly, Borowski’s anteater is made from three differently colored metal elements: the hind legs and tail are brown. The front legs are a lighter gray-beige, and the “ruff” is black. The shaggy look of the fur is also forged into the metal. The tiny ears and small, round eyes, which contrast with its primitive build, lend it a special charm.
