“Monty”

This hand-blown glass sculpture is available to order in the following colors: Violet & Yellow. Some animals seem to belong to another world. The salamander is one of them. Monty captures this mysterious aura and translates it into glass. With its elliptical head, large eyes, and rounded body, it appears unique, almost a little extraterrestrial – and at the same time surprisingly endearing. Monty commands a truly commanding presence. His robust body displays striking color contrasts : in the blue-violet version, yellow accents shine brightly, while in the yellow-orange version, black areas create a bold counterpoint. His curved tail and large, inquisitive eyes make him a truly distinctive object. He doesn’t simply stand in the room – he defines it . The glass body is supported by four powder-coated steel feet, whose small, charmingly shaped silhouette is reminiscent of real salamander feet.
