“Catalina Sunset” is a gentle hymn to the desert evening — a moment where the gold of the day surrenders to twilight, and the Catalina Mountains stand as silent guardians. It invites the listener to pause, breathe, and feel the serenity that only the desert can offer.

CATALINA SUNSET

Golden light is falling, painting sky and stone,
Catalinas glowing, crowned in sunset’s tone.
Blush of red and amber, hints of fading blue,
Desert breathes in silence, as the day is through.

Turquoise desert bushes, dancing in the breeze,
Purple hills behind them, swaying like the seas.
Every stone is glowing, brushed with gentle flame,
Evening writes its poem, signing nature’s name.

Catalina Sunset, hold this moment still,
Whisper to the desert, every dream fulfilled.
Shadows turn to velvet, colors softly blend,
Peace across the canyon, where the night begins.

Coyote calls are distant, stars begin to wake,
Crickets sing together by a desert lake.
Air is soft and golden, calm and warm and wide,
Night is gently waiting just beyond the sky.

Catalina Sunset, stay a little long,
Wrap the earth in quiet, hum the desert’s song.
Shadows fade to starlight, heaven opens wide,
Peace becomes the canvas, and the night arrives.
