“Sherlock”

With ‘Sherlock’, Borowski presents a light object that tongue-in-cheek translates the legendary figure of Sherlock Holmes into glass. The famous detective is parodied here, affectionately and with a touch of humor: On his head sits the unmistakable deerstalker cap – a checkered hunting hat. He holds a magnifying glass in front of his eye , symbolizing his keen powers of observation. And, of course, the classic pipe is also included – the iconic accessory that accompanies Holmes on his mental excursions. Thus, the bird itself becomes the personification of a sleuth, eccentric, clever, and a little mischievous – in the style of the Odd Birds Edition.
