“Beach Comber” Monument

John Maisano is fascinated by the artistic designs found in Celtic, African, Inuit and Tribal art which he incorporates into his sculptures. His “Beach comber” sculpture is inscribed with flowing shapes inspired by natural forms and structures. The maquette size sculpture is designed to be a treasure that can be held in the palm of one’s hand. The enlarged, monument version emphasizes the details, smooth shapes, and the core character of the hermit crab.
