Born and raised in the Southwest, Fred Ortiz sculpts unique bronzes. His work is a modern interpretation of traditional Native American pottery, and gives familiar forms a contemporary appeal. Ortiz begins by carefully selecting a piece of fine stone, and then designing the pot around the centerpiece of the stone. Each one of his bronze pots are original, one-of-a-kind sculptures. These highly collectible pots are treasured by bronze collectors around the world, including commissioned pieces created for the King of Jordan, the Sultan of Brunei, and the King of the United Arab Emirates.
