“Lady Lea”

“The sea-lion is a sleek, beautiful creature who resides along the Pacific Coast from Northern Alaska to Southern California and many other places in the world. Noisy and boisterous, they have adapted to living next to man and have a demanding presence. Many fishermen going to their boats have found that they must hazard their way amongst the sea-lions as they lounge on the docks and even on the decks of their boats. I have heard tell that there are some fishermen who wish that they would relocate to a faraway remote site. The word is out that they will steal fish right off the fisherman’s line. They are still beautiful though.”
