“Unidentified wants, desires, and wishes can lie dormant deep within us as ungerminated seeds of hope. Left undisturbed they will probably remain unfulfilled forever, manifesting themselves as the opposite of what they really are. At this unidentified level, we experience them as discontent, non fulfillment and non potential. We float along this sea of negativity enshrouded by a fog of drudgery that nearly totally obscures direction.

Life changes when we discover what is really important. When we identify and confront what we are about, or what we want to be about, we re-prioritize how we spend the withdrawals from our life-time account. From that moment, we interact with the world, and life, with purpose and direction. We live within the awareness of potential and are open to and aware of the possibilities that life and the Universe, randomly—and not so randomly—send our way.

Our Inner Prayers, they must be identified, acknowledged, embraced, and finally . . .spoken into existence.”

The art of Southwest native Richard Pankratz is design driven. The element of Pankratz’ design can be easily recognized, even though all of the individual elements of the pieces are radically different. Pankratz refuses to be bound by either subject or media, he feels that artists must somehow find a way to express a segment of the world in which they exist, and that as they take this journey, themes should be explored continually in multi-faceted arrays of variation.
