“Angler”

Kristin has always been interested in the ocean and all the strange things we know about it, and all the things we have yet to know about it. In the very deep, we can’t see with our own eyes, pressure and darkness limit us to cameras and submarines. If only we could see for ourselves. 

Kristin McDonald’s artwork introduces the viewer to something truly whimsical and exciting. She does not shy away from topics bringing the viewer into a dream-like world and into the unknown. Working in a fine art foundry since 2005, she gained plenty of experience and skill applying patina to bronze sculptures which she truly thinks brings them to life. Now, she brings this talent into her own work.
