The first time I encountered this magnificent beauty was last year when I purchased the cactus for my yard. I had no idea how the blooms would become so jaw dropping. I called this art piece “Midnight Miracle” as each bloom only lasts for one night. It is also called “The Queen of the Night” and symbolizes transience and beauty. Its fleeting flowers, which open for a single night, are a natural metaphor for life’s transient beautiful moments, reminding us to cherish the now.
