Mid-18th century, heavy, broad wheeled, covered wagons were called conestogas. A small section of 130 year old conestoga tire was used in the creation of this piece! Also used was a large piece of slate stone, ice cube glass, ivy embellished bell, old used chain hook, and steel grinding ball used in mining.
