Sara Minaudo studied fine arts at the Brooklyn Museum School, the School of Visual Arts, Bard College, and the Woodstock School of Art. For over six years Sara worked as a painter and designer for Ulla Darni Studios, which had galleries worldwide.
In addition to her fine art, Sara’s illustration work has been published in books, which include “The Old Eagle Nester” by Doris West Brooks and “The Girl Who Couldn’t See” by Raymond J. Steiner. Sara is also the founder of the Green County Council of the Arts Mountaintop Gallery and is one of its first curators. She lives in the Catskill high peaks town of Hunter, New York.
Currently, Sara is the founder of the American Art Glass Studio which specializes in hand painted, original, one-of-a-kind, “reverse painted” fine glass chandeliers and table lamps.
Inspired by the Catskill Mountains where she has lived for over twenty-five years, Sara creates stunning depictions of the natural world. Her creations depict animals as well as delicate botanical and grand Hudson Valley landscapes that are done entirely by her hand alone. Each original fine art chandelier is lovingly and painstakingly created in her studio. Beautiful at any time of day, they really sparkle with incredible brilliance when illuminated. Even the smallest lamp will be the centerpiece of any home, office, or commercial space.
Exposures International Gallery of Fine Art is proud to represent Sara Minaudo and display the largest collection of her gorgeous chandeliers.
