Born in Los Angeles in 1941, I have grown up, been educated, married, raised a family and worked in California most of my life. My experience of being an artist started at an early age and led me to pursue an art education at El Camino College, UCLA, and Otis Parsons Art Institute.
My professional career took off in 1967, when I received recognition from both the Downey Art Museum and the Los Angeles All City Art Festival.
As testament to art as a career choice, I have been the sole support of myself and four children since 1968, relying only on the sale of my artwork. My eldest daughter was graduated in Architecture from both Berkeley and Harvard Universities, my second daughter is an athletic coach in Manhattan Beach, my eldest son builds bridges in Northern California, and my younger son graduated from UC Santa Barbara in English Literature.
Having been featured in Southwest Art, Rendezvous and LA Style magazines, as well as in the Jackson Hole News, Idaho Mountain Express, and the Los Angeles Times, my work is also featured in many private and corporate collections in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Japan.
