| The Procession Description: | | This ancient petroglyph depicts a procession of figures- some with flutes, others carrrying staffs. It is impossible to know the meaning of images like this, other than the fact that we know staffs are ceremonial items. The staff was a part of the dance regalia and served to indentify the position of chiefs and shamans. |
