L'Deane Trueblood has received national acclaim for her sensitive portrayals of the human face and figure. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts with honors from the University of Oklahoma, where she later earned a Master of Arts.
She has received top awards for both painting and sculpture in regional and national shows including Utah Women Artists, Utah Watercolor Society, Nevada Watercolor Society, Oklahoma Watercolor Association, New York Pen and Brush (the 1995 Tallix Award for Bronze Sculpture), Art Students League NY, Scottsdale Artists School, Dixie College Invitational, and the Springville Museum of Art. In addition, her work is in many private and corporate collections. Trueblood is listed in the Who's Who in American Art and has been an invited artist at the prestigious Sculpture in the Park Show in Loveland, Colorado for several years.
