| Willow Description: | | "Willow" is sculpted from Nero Maquina Marble, which is characterized by an overall dark gray color - almost black - and punctuated by veins of white and pale silver. Although dark in color, this sculpture is finished with a high polish surface that reflects light and enhances the figure. In "Willow" a lithe, young woman stands bent over at the waist so that her hair flows down her legs. The deep folded posture obscures her figure, allowing only hints of her beautiful curves to tantalize the eyes of the viewer. |
