Don’t believe it all without examination
Some will tell you that humans can’t fly
But you and I know better than that… at least I do
And I hope that you do too
If no one flew nothing new would ever happen
No music, poetry, paintings, sculpture, no theorems
Pythagoras flew 2500 years ago
While the shamans of the lower Pecos flew
It was then he discovered that special relationship
For which he had so long searched
Then Pythagoras offered 100 oxen to the Muses
For the inspiration, for the flight, for being able to fly
So don’t tell me that humans can’t fly
Don’t let them tell you that you can’t fly either
Or likely you never will, if you believe them
We know better… those of us who are children
We know we can fly. Not only that… we know
There are no limits to the flight.
