When you look at Andrew Carson’s wind sculptures, you see bits and pieces of his past – the seven-year-old fascinated with the wind machines near Carson's home and the teenager who worked in a bicycle shop, fiddling with gears and learning to weld. You will also see a couple of the men who influenced him, like Jules Verne and Dr. Seuss.
Andrew Carson earned a degree from the University of Washington in photography and spent ten years as an illustrator before he turned his talent, energies and inspirations to creating fascinating and whimsical sculptures. Andrew Carson creates his sculptures to interact with people and solve riddles of the landscape, both interior and exterior.
Today, Andrew’s work is installed in nearly all fifty states and beyond. His pieces include public and private commissions and work for a cornucopia of high-profile patrons who find Andrew Carson's distinctive sculptures a perfect complement to their homes.
